Ghana's Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, is scheduled to give a mid‑year assessment of the education sector at the Government Accountability Series on Monday, July 20.
During the briefing he will detail a cabinet‑approved GH₵3 billion infrastructure programme intended to eliminate the double‑track system in senior high schools, addressing long‑standing capacity gaps.
The upcoming announcement was highlighted by Minister of State for Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu in a Facebook post, emphasizing the plan's role in broader reforms to improve access and quality of secondary education nationwide.
