Ghana Medical Trust Fund receives GH₵1 million donation and prison health equipment

BOSTenergies donated GH₵1 million to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) to fund specialised treatment for Ghanaians with chronic or life‑threatening illnesses. Managing Director Afetsi Awoonor presented the cheque and said the contribution is an investment in lives, families and the nation’s future. Administrator Adjoa Obuobia Darko‑Opoku said the funds will support chemotherapy, dialysis, heart and brain surgery for patients who cannot afford care.

The GMTF also delivered a full container of medical equipment, consumables and supplies to the Ghana Prisons Service, described as one of the largest health‑support packages ever received by the prison system. Director‑General Patience Baffoe‑Bonnie welcomed the intervention, noting it will improve care for inmates, prison staff and visitors and strengthen public health overall.
