Ghana NPP Leaders Rally Behind Mahamudu Bawumia for 2028 Presidential Bid
National Chairman hopeful of Ghana’s New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi‑Boasiako, known as Wontumi, said he will not rest until Mahamudu Bawumia becomes the country’s next president. He made the statement during a unity walk in Tarkwa‑Nsuaem that aimed to strengthen party cohesion ahead of the 2028 general election.
Former National Youth Organiser and MP Sammi Awuku also publicly urged Bawumia to stay resilient and focused, posting a message that referenced the perseverance of past NPP leaders. Both leaders highlighted the need for steadfast support within the party as it prepares for the upcoming presidential contest.
