The Ghana Police Service has completed its nationwide training program in preparation for the October 1, 2026, rollout of Traffitech-GH, an automated traffic enforcement system. The final training session took place on September 24 in Ho, Volta Region, involving 45 participants including personnel from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) and representatives from the Judicial Service, National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), National Insurance Commission (NIC), and Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).

The training focused on the operation of the new system, including the use of in-vehicle fixed cameras and handheld or tripod LaserCam4 speed cameras. Participants were also briefed on the Road Traffic Regulations, 2026 (L.
