Ghana's Narcotics Control Commission arrests 10 in Cape Coast drug raid

The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) of Ghana carried out an intelligence‑led operation in Cape Coast, targeting alleged drug‑trafficking and substance‑abuse hotspots. Raids were conducted simultaneously at Pedu, Victoria Road, the University of Cape Coast area, Downtown and other strategic locations.

Ten suspects, both men and women aged 24 to 55, were arrested and items believed to be linked to narcotics were seized for forensic examination. NACOC said the arrests demonstrate its commitment to dismantling illicit drug networks and improving public safety, and it urged the public to continue providing credible information to aid the fight against drug‑related crime.
