Ghana's New Patriotic Party Conducts Internal Elections in Navrongo Central and Manhyia South

In Navrongo Central, newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency chairman Solomon Navanse Kwovia rated MP Simon Aworigo a 4 out of 10, citing poor road conditions, abandoned projects, and rising youth unemployment. Navanse called for greater party unity, youth job creation, and infrastructure development ahead of the next general election.

In Manhyia South, the NPP held peaceful internal elections for its constituency executives. Peter Kwaku Asamoah was elected chairman with 565 votes, defeating Seth Twumasi. Ackah Blay won first vice‑chairman with 662 votes, Stephen Addai secured the treasurer post with 588 votes, and other officers were chosen to lead the party’s local organization. The new leadership pledged to work for party cohesion and to support Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid.
