Ghana's New Patriotic Party sets September 19 for national delegates conference
The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana announced that its National Delegates Conference will be held on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The conference will elect new national officers and consider other constitutional matters, following approval by the party’s National Executive Committee and endorsement by the National Council.
General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong opened a constitutional review process, inviting members and stakeholders to submit amendment proposals by 17 July 2026. Submissions can be sent to the party headquarters or via the designated email address. The gathering is seen as a pivotal step for the NPP as it prepares for the 2028 general elections.
