Ghana's NPP rallies leaders and MPs to unite ahead of 2028 election

Hon. Boakye Agyarko, candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) national chairmanship, toured the Northern Region, meeting stakeholders in Yendi and Tamale and receiving endorsements from MPs Alhassan Tampuli and Matthew Nyindam. He called for party unity and strategic reforms to strengthen the NPP for the 2028 general election.

Meanwhile, MP Dr. Bryan Acheampong appealed to former presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong to set aside disagreements and help heal internal divisions. Acheampong warned that continued infighting could harm the party’s effort to recover from its 2024 defeat and urged all factions to support the NPP's flagbearer for the 2028 race.
