Ghost of Yotei receives major 30 GB update for PS5

A significant update for the PlayStation 5 exclusive title Ghost of Yotei has been released, totaling approximately 29 to 30 GB. This patch appears to prepare the game for its upcoming Complete Edition, scheduled for release on October 1.

Key features introduced in this update include the ‘Beauty of Yotei’ mode, a cinematic exploration mode designed to let players experience the game's atmosphere and landscapes through slow camera work and music without the pressure of combat. Additionally, a transmog system has been added, allowing players to customize the visual appearance of their weapons and armor while retaining the statistical benefits of their highest-rated gear.

The update also makes trophy lists for the ‘Echoes of Sekigahara’ expansion and the ‘Most Wanted’ mode visible to players. While the expansion itself is a paid addition, these new features and trophy integrations are part of the free version 2.0 update.
