Ghost of Yotei receives major update ahead of Complete Edition

Sucker Punch Productions has released a major update (version 2.0) for Ghost of Yotei on PlayStation 5. The approximately 30 GB patch appears to prepare the title for the upcoming Complete Edition, which is scheduled for release on October 1.

Key features introduced in this update include the ‘Beauty of Yotei’ exploration mode, which utilizes cinematic camera movements to allow players to experience the game's environment. The patch also introduces a transmog system, enabling players to customize the appearance of their weapons and armor without sacrificing stats. Additionally, trophies for the ‘Echoes of Sekigahara’ narrative expansion and the ‘Most Wanted’ roguelike combat mode have been added to the game.

The Complete Edition will include the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC, featuring new characters, heavy weapons, and armor sets, as well as the Most Wanted single-player survival mode.
