Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition launches on PlayStation 5

Sucker Punch Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment have released the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition for PlayStation 5. This comprehensive package includes the original game, the Legends cooperative experience, and two major new additions: the narrative expansion ‘Echoes of Sekigahara’ and the ‘Most Wanted’ single-player combat survival mode.

The ‘Echoes of Sekigahara’ expansion introduces the Ashoro Foothills in Ezo, a region controlled by a faction known as the Vipers. The story utilizes flashbacks to the Battle of Sekigahara to deepen the protagonist Atsu’s history and her connection to the character Nagato. Players can expect new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and Mythic Tales.

The ‘Most Wanted’ mode offers a roguelike-style survival experience where players can choose from four playable characters: Atsu, Oyuki, Nagato, and the returning Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. Each character features unique weapons, abilities, and combat styles.

Additionally, Sony has introduced Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR), an AI-driven upscaling technology designed to improve image detail and stability on the PS5. Recent software updates have also addressed stability and performance following the implementation of these new features.
