FCSB appoints Reghecampf and negotiates player swap with Craiova

FCSB has appointed Laurențiu Reghecampf for his third managerial stint. Mihai Stoica, FCSB's Board President, reported that players, including foreign nationals with ties to North Africa, have reacted positively to the appointment, citing Reghecampf's successful history at clubs like Esperance Tunis.

Simultaneously, FCSB and Universitatea Craiova are negotiating a significant player exchange. The proposed deal involves FCSB sending Aymen Boutoutaou to Craiova in exchange for striker Steven Nsimba, potentially accompanied by a cash payment of approximately 800,000 to 1 million euros.

The potential transfer has drawn mixed reactions from football experts and officials. While some view Nsimba as a top-tier striker who would strengthen FCSB, Universitatea Craiova President Pavel Bade expressed skepticism, suggesting the club would lose out by trading a proven performer for an unproven player. Former players and analysts have also weighed in, with some noting that the deal could be a ‘win-win’ or a significant advantage for FCSB depending on the players' adaptation.
