The Tigres del Licey have signed Panamanian reliever Javy Guerra and are focusing on pitching depth with a roster featuring several veterans. The Águilas Cibaeñas have also made significant moves, including signing Luis Liberato and acquiring Jasson Domínguez via trade.

Other league developments include the Gigantes del Cibao beginning training sessions with a mix of prospects and MLB veterans, and the Leones del Escogido integrating key players like Junior Lake and Franchy Cordero. Additionally, three Dominican players—Junior Caminero, Elly De La Cruz, and Fernando Tatis Jr.—have been named finalists for the 2026 Hank Aaron Award.
