Gioachino Rossini Conservatory undergoes leadership change in Pesaro
The Gioachino Rossini State Conservatory of Music in Pesaro has undergone a change in leadership. Outgoing director Fabio Masini is concluding his tenure, which included two terms as director from 2020 to 2026, following years of service as a teacher and vice-director.
Mayor Andrea Biancani and Deputy Mayor Daniele Vimini expressed gratitude to Masini for his collaboration with the municipal administration. They highlighted the conservatory’s role in strengthening the connection between the city, music, and the legacy of Gioachino Rossini, particularly as Pesaro holds the status of UNESCO City of Music.
Andrea Turini has been appointed as the new director to succeed Masini.
