GioiosAttiva urges Gioiosa Marea mayor to update on S.S. 113 road measures

The local citizen movement GioiosAttiva sent a formal note to Gioiosa Marea mayor Giusi La Galia requesting a public update on the status of State Road 113 (S.S. 113) between kilometre 92+000 and 92+400. The request cites ANAS Ordinance No. 198/2026/CT, which imposes an alternating one‑way system in the direction of Palermo and is set to expire on 31 July 2026.

GioiosAttiva also highlights a reported problem at kilometre 92+050, where vehicles over 3.5 tonnes have been prohibited from using the road, a restriction that has hindered local economic activity. The movement asks the municipal administration to clarify any forthcoming actions or projects intended to improve traffic safety and reduce inconvenience for residents and road users. The note was signed by Maurizio Adamo, Andrea Carollo, Francesco Lisi, Mariajulia Pagana, Gabriele Panissidi and Daniele Sottile.
