Giota Vlachaki to compete in 5th Patras Night Half Marathon

Olympic athlete Giota Vlachaki is set to participate in the 5th Patras Night Half Marathon ‘Fanis Tsimigatos’, scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026. This marks her third time competing in the event.

Vlachaki, a former Olympian (Rio 2016) and national champion, expressed high praise for the organization and the course. She noted that her goal is to finish first with a strong time in preparation for the upcoming Greek Championships. The event has received statistical coverage certification from the World Athletics federation.

The marathon is organized by the Municipality of Patras and Kyros Patras.
