Giuliana Perrotta bids farewell as Avellino prepares new mayoral administration

Extraordinary Commissioner Giuliana Perrotta delivered her final report to the municipal administration of Avellino, outlining the actions taken, challenges faced and results achieved during her tenure. She formally handed over the report to the interim mayor, lawyer Nello Pizza, who awaits validation of the elected officials before the new ordinary administration can begin.

Perrotta thanked the city's residents, local institutions, the prefecture, police, judiciary, associations, trade unions and municipal staff for their cooperation. She highlighted the dedication of sub‑commissioners and municipal employees, noted complex issues addressed and identified matters still pending for the incoming administration. Her statement emphasized confidence in Avellino's future and expressed gratitude for the community’s support.
