Giulianova man stabbed during dispute outside bar
A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the back following an argument outside a bar in Giulianova, Italy. The incident occurred on Via Nazario Sauro and involved a dispute with three youths, reportedly of Maghrebi origin. One of the attackers has been identified by the Carabinieri, who are currently reviewing surveillance footage.
The victim was treated by emergency services and transported to a hospital in Teramo. While he sustained a deep wound, he is not in critical condition and has been discharged with a 20-day prognosis.
Giulianova Mayor Jwan Costantini addressed the incident, noting that this is the second serious event involving the Maghrebi community this summer. He has requested a meeting at the prefecture to discuss the matter and reaffirmed his confidence in local law enforcement and recent municipal investments in security and surveillance.
