Giuseppe Cavallo reveals Stidda drug trafficking routes

Former criminal associate Giuseppe Cavallo has provided testimony to prosecutors in Caltanissetta regarding drug trafficking operations involving the Stidda organization. Cavallo, the son of historical boss Aurelio Cavallo, detailed specific routes and supply chains used by the clan.

According to the testimony, the Stidda expanded its drug offerings by cultivating marijuana in the Mazzarino and Licata areas. Cavallo stated that his relatives and affiliates in Agrigento managed cultivation in greenhouses located between sheepfolds and various territories.

He further described a historical exchange between the Stidda and the Ndrangheta between 2000 and 2002. Cavallo alleged that the Stidda provided marijuana to the Piccolo brothers, members of the Ndrangheta, who in turn supplied cocaine to the Sicilian group.
