Stidda criminal organization investigations

Overview

Giuseppe Cavallo, a judicial collaborator and son of historical boss Aurelio Cavallo, has provided extensive testimony to prosecutors in Caltanissetta regarding the activities of the Stidda criminal organization.

Cavallo’s statements detailed various violent crimes, including his admission to being the “material executor” of the 2002 murder of Angelo Rolletto. He also provided information on the 1997 murder of a youth named Martinez and an attempted murder of Carmelo Raniolo, citing internal disputes and personal grievances as motives.
