Giuseppe Conte fuels Italian political feuds with fake video and historic Five Star tensions

Meloni, who was not present in the chamber at the time, denounced the clip as a fabricated manipulation, demanding an explanation from Conte.

At a recent book launch in Genoa, Conte also recalled past disputes with Five Star Movement founder Beppe Grillo, describing moments of public insults and disagreements over internal voting procedures. He emphasized that the rift dates back to early experiments with participatory democracy within the movement.
