Glad Cube releases report on AI citation trends and corporate website usage
Glad Cube Inc. has released a research report via its marketing media, ‘INSIGHT CUBE’, analyzing how generative AI models cite information. The study utilized data from its AIO and LLMO optimization platform, ‘LLMOA’, covering 25,281 responses and 236,185 total citations across five major AI models.
The report highlights that in scenarios involving comparison and consideration, corporate websites account for approximately 54.3% of AI citations. This data comes amid the rise of ‘zero-click searches’ driven by tools like Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Gemini, where users obtain answers directly from AI without visiting original websites.
As traditional SEO evolves, the report emphasizes the growing importance of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) to ensure brands are accurately mentioned and recommended within AI-generated responses.
