Gliwice and Toruń present a packed weekend of summer cultural events
In Gliwice, July 10‑12 will feature a range of activities including street art, concerts, theatre performances, outdoor cinema, yoga, relaxation workshops, and the return of the Scena Solar program in Park Chopina. The city also announced a 300 million zł investment in Huta Łabędy for pipe production, described by the mayor as a major opportunity. Additional highlights are the modernisation of the historic Kąpielisko Leśne swimming pool, a new mural on the A4 viaduct in Ostropa, and the Summer Arena immersive experience at PreZero Arena.
Meanwhile, Toruń is offering family‑friendly programmes such as theatre tours at the Wilama Horzycy Theatre, a performance of "Śpiąca Królewna" at Teatr Baj Pomorski, and workshops linked to the International Poster and Typography Festival exhibition. Visitors can also join a guided tour of historic artifacts at the City Hall, relax with yoga and a gong concert in Martówka Park, and explore contemporary art exhibitions at the Centre for Contemporary Art "Znaki Czasu".
