Güllü murder investigation reveals new audio evidence and witness testimony

New evidence has emerged in the investigation into the death of singer Güllü, who died on September 26, 2025, after falling from a sixth-floor window in Yalova. Her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, has been arrested and faces charges of premeditated murder of a close relative, with a request for aggravated life imprisonment.

Testimony from the sole witness present during the incident, Sultan Nur Ulu—who is currently under house arrest—has provided chilling details. During a prosecution reenactment, Ulu reportedly described the moments Tuğyan pushed her mother. Furthermore, leaked audio recordings of Ulu's father, Arif, suggest a confession was made, with the recording stating, “Sultan told me, ‘We threw her, father. We threw her, we killed her.’” The recordings also claim Tuğyan offered two apartments in exchange for the act.

Additional reports indicate a history of tension between the mother and daughter. Kervan Eminoğlu, the former fiancé of Tuğyan, stated that the daughter harbored deep resentment toward Güllü. Allegations have also surfaced regarding a theft involving Tuğyan and a friend, which reportedly led Güllü to change the locks and security codes to her residence shortly before the incident.
