Prosecutors allege a ‘musical trap’ where the song ‘Malkata’ was played to lure Tut to the window.

New developments include an indictment and a trial scheduled for 1 October 2026. Witness Sultan Nur Ulu, currently under house arrest, faces a potential four-year sentence for perjury. In voice recordings, Ulu allegedly claimed that Gülter was putting on an ‘Oscar-worthy performance’ to deflect suspicion and claimed she witnessed Gülter throwing her mother out of the window. Ulu further alleged that Gülter attempted to implicate her, stating, ‘If I burn, I will burn you too.’

Additional testimony from Kervan Eminoğlu, Gülter’s former fiancé, highlights deep resentment between mother and daughter. Eminoğlu claims to have heard an audio recording in which Tuğyan threatened, ‘Come here, I will throw you out the window,’ and noted her significant physical strength. Furthermore, the deceased’s son, Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, has alleged that video footage from the time of the incident was manipulated through edits and deletions.
