Global raspberry markets face diverse supply and price trends

The global raspberry market is experiencing diverse trends driven by weather, crop development, and supply availability. In France and parts of Northern Europe, heatwaves and limited volumes have kept prices high. Conversely, Italy and Switzerland report generally good yields, while increased supply from Mexico and California is exerting downward pressure on prices in North America.

Export conditions are also shifting in key growing regions. Morocco concluded its 2025-2026 season earlier than expected, seeing a decrease in fresh raspberry exports alongside an increase in frozen exports. Meanwhile, South Africa is preparing for its new season as the first buds appear.

In the Netherlands, the market has faced challenges due to low availability. While volumes from Portugal were stable in June and early July, supply decreased as temperatures rose above 30°C, causing plant stress and market shortages. Limited availability was also noted in Poland due to fluctuating weather conditions during the transition between harvests.
