Global reservoir levels: Spain maintains 62% capacity while Yacyretá remains stable

Water reservoir levels in Spain and the Yacyretá Binational Entity show varying conditions. In Spain, reservoirs are currently at 62.6% capacity, storing 35,073 cubic hectometers. Despite a weekly decrease of 802 cubic hectometers due to scarce rainfall, levels remain above the ten-year average. Several basins, including the Guadalquivir and Guadiana, exceed 70% capacity, while Catalonia shows improved levels at 76.4% compared to previous deficit years.

At the Yacyretá Binational Entity, the reservoir level remained stationary at 82.97 meters above sea level. The daily inflow is forecasted at 14,500 cubic meters per second, with a projected decrease to approximately 13,400 cubic meters per second for the following day. Operational discharges include 2,200 cubic meters per second through the Aña Cuá arm.
