Global rubber prices rise on SHFE and SGX amid mixed market trends

Global rubber markets are showing mixed but generally upward trends. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), natural rubber prices rose, with the September 2026 contract increasing by 1.68% to 17,855 NDT/ton. Similarly, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) saw gains, with the September TSR20 contract rising 2.02% to 237.40 cents/kg.

In contrast, the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) reported mixed or stable results, with RSS3 contracts for August and September remaining largely unchanged. In Thailand, domestic RSS3 prices remained flat, though export-standard smoked sheets and block rubber saw slight increases.

In Vietnam, domestic rubber procurement prices remained stable across several major companies. Companies such as Ba Ria Rubber, Phu Rieng, and Mang Yang reported no significant changes in their purchase prices for liquid latex and coagulated rubber, despite the fluctuations seen on international exchanges.
