Global natural rubber market price fluctuations
Overview
Global rubber markets have maintained an upward trend across major Asian exchanges, driven by tightening supply and renewed capital flow into Asian rubber contracts.
By early September 2026, price increases intensified. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), the September 2026 contract rose by 2.12% to 18,295 CNY per ton, with increases also reported for October contracts. In Singapore, the SGX saw notable gains, specifically with the October TSR20 contract rising 3.31% to 240.40 cents per kg.
The Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) has shown mixed or fluctuating results; while the September RSS3 contract increased by 1.13% to 458.80 yen per kg, other contracts have seen slight declines.
In Vietnam, domestic procurement prices at major enterprises, including Phu Rieng, Binh Long, Ba Ria, and Mang Yang, have remained stable for liquid latex and mixed rubber.
