Global rubber prices rise on SHFE and SGX exchanges
Global rubber prices have seen significant increases across major Asian exchanges, driven by tightening global supply and renewed capital flow into Asian rubber contracts. On the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), natural rubber prices rose, with the September 2026 contract increasing by 2.12% to 18,295 CNY per ton.
In Singapore, the SGX saw notable gains, with the October TSR20 contract rising 3.31% to 240.40 cents per kg. Meanwhile, the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) showed mixed results; the September RSS3 contract increased by 1.13% to 458.80 yen per kg, while the November contract saw a slight decline.
In Vietnam, domestic rubber prices at major enterprises remained stable. Companies such as Phu Rieng, Binh Long, Ba Ria, and Mang Yang reported consistent purchasing prices for liquid latex and mixed rubber compared to previous sessions.
