Defense industry targets hit in Munich arson attempt and Polish drone factory fire

Security incidents targeting defense and critical infrastructure have been reported in Germany and Poland. In Munich, authorities detained two Bulgarian citizens following an attempted arson attack on defense companies Rohde & Schwarz and Helsing. Investigators are examining the political motives behind the incident, which involved incendiary devices being thrown from a vehicle.

In Poland, a fire at the WB Electronics drone factory in Skarżysko-Kamienna caused an estimated 15 million PLN in damages. The facility produces drones for the Polish military and the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The National Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into suspected participation in foreign intelligence activities and terrorism, noting that the incident may have been a coordinated operation.
