Global Women Summit 2026 convenes in Istanbul

The Global Summit of Women was held in Istanbul from 4‑6 June 2026 at the Hilton Bomonti. The three‑day event gathered hundreds of women ministers, CEOs, entrepreneurs and public officials from 45 countries across four continents. The summit’s theme, “Women: Building Bridges to a Bold Future,” framed discussions on the role of female leadership in economic growth, investment and international cooperation.

Turkish officials, including Family and Social Services Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, hosted round‑table meetings on public‑private partnerships for women and girls. Sessions covered artificial intelligence, digital currencies, technology‑enabled health solutions, corporate branding and sustainable leadership. Microsoft sponsored AI training workshops, while male and female CEO forums featured executives from Siemens, Nestlé, Unilever, Boeing Turkey, Pegasus Airlines, Beymen, Hepsiburada and Allianz Turkey. The summit concluded with the Turkey Women Leadership Awards honoring leading Turkish women.

The gathering highlighted Turkey’s role as a bridge between East and West and aimed to accelerate economic progress through collaborative learning among women leaders worldwide.
