Globo announces new telenovela productions

Globo has announced its upcoming programming lineup, including the production of two new telenovelas for its 7 PM time slot. Following the current production “Por Você,” written by Dino Cantelli and Juliana Peres, the network confirmed “Elas Que Brilhem” by Daniel Ortiz.

Additionally, the network introduced “Próxima Parada,” a story centered on characters Rosa and Bernardo. The plot follows a driver who meets her potential partner after an accident. The network aims to maintain its dominance in the entertainment market through organized programming releases, contrasting with competitors like Record.

In the current storyline of “Por Você,” the character Peixe (played by Cauê Campos) is set to create conflict by seeking legal custody of his three siblings, a move viewed as an act of ingratitude toward Bela (Sheron Menezzes), who has provided stability for the family.
