Globo launches vertical short‑episode version of 'O Outro Lado do Paraíso' on Globoplay

TV Globo revived its 2017 telenovela O Outro Lado do Paraíso as a vertical short‑episode series on Globoplay, released on 28 July 2026. The new format, called Clara de O Outro Lado do Paraíso, offers 50 episodes of roughly two minutes each and is available for free to non‑subscribers. It retells the story of Clara Tavares (Bianca Bin), a young woman from Jalapão whose life is altered after marrying into a powerful family, being confined to a psychiatric hospital, escaping after ten years, and returning as a wealthy woman seeking revenge and custody of her son. The project is part of Globo’s strategy to adapt catalog content for mobile, vertical‑screen consumption and to attract a digital audience. The re‑edited series includes original cast members such as Lima Duarte, Sergio Guizé, Marieta Severo and Grazi Massafera, and joins Globo’s growing library of "novelinhas" optimized for brief, on‑the‑go viewing.
