Globo reshuffles TV schedule for 2026 World Cup coverage

Brazilian broadcaster Globo altered its Sunday lineup ahead of the Brazil‑Norway World Cup match, dropping the program “Temperatura Máxima” and inserting a fully live schedule that includes “Domingão”, “Esporte Espetacular” and a pre‑match show hosted by Everaldo Marques de Araújo.

The network also moved the telenovela “Quem Ama Cuida” to 21:55 on Friday, placing it after Jornal Nacional, to accommodate live broadcasts of the 2026 World Cup knockout‑stage games. These changes illustrate Globo’s strategy to retain audience share during the tournament.
