Glovo ceases operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The food delivery platform Glovo has officially ceased operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina as of August 10, 2026. The company stated that the decision to withdraw was made at a global level as part of a strategic realignment to focus resources and investments on high-growth markets.
Reports indicate significant financial liabilities remaining in the country. Long-term financial obligations exceed 12 million KM, while short-term obligations total 84 million KM. This includes 9.3 million KM in obligations to suppliers and contractual partners. Additionally, there are allegations of substantial tax debts in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and potential investigations regarding irregular employment practices. The Federal Tax Administration has confirmed conducting inspections, though specific results remain confidential due to tax secrecy laws.
