Glyka Nera: 16-year-old injured in electric scooter accident

A 16-year-old riding an electric scooter was seriously injured in a traffic accident in the Glyka Nera area of Greece. The incident occurred on Vytinas Street late Saturday night, around 22:00 to 22:30.

The teenager was struck by a private vehicle driven by a 19-year-old, causing him to be thrown onto the roadway. Emergency services from EKAB arrived at the scene and transported the minor to KAT Hospital, where he remains under medical care for serious injuries.

Traffic police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the collision. The 19-year-old driver has undergone a breathalyzer test to determine if alcohol was involved in the accident.
