GMO Internet Group launches AI-driven back-office automation services

GMO Internet Group companies are expanding their AI-driven business process outsourcing (BPO) and automation capabilities. GMO Run System has introduced ‘GENBA AI byGMO’, a service designed to redesign back-office operations such as accounting, human resources, and general affairs. The system utilizes the ‘RUN AI Platform’ to coordinate a three-layer structure consisting of a management foundation, processing AI agents, and human decision-makers for exception handling and final quality checks.

Additionally, GMO Prime Strategy and GMO AI Connect are launching an integration between ‘GMO AI RAG’ and ‘JOINT AI Flow byGMO’. This collaboration allows AI-driven workflows to reference internal company knowledge—such as work rules and manuals—to perform automated tasks. By connecting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology with an iPaaS/AI agent foundation, companies can build no-code workflows that automatically reflect updates made to internal documents without requiring manual reconfiguration of the automation logic.
