GMO National Security establishes new Intelligence Division

GMO National Security Co., Ltd. has established a new Intelligence Division to enhance its capabilities in addressing national-level cyber threats and economic security risks.

Led by Atsushi Teraoka, a former cybersecurity journalist from Nikkei Inc., the division will focus on collecting and analyzing information regarding state-level cyber threats. Key activities include issuing regular reports, evaluating the impact of geopolitical risks on cyber security, and utilizing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to analyze attacker intentions and methods. The division aims to provide critical information to assist decision-making for government agencies and critical infrastructure operators.
