Godzilla Minus Zero behind-the-scenes footage released

Toho and GKIDS have released behind-the-scenes footage for Godzilla Minus Zero, the upcoming sequel directed by Takashi Yamazaki. The film follows the events of Godzilla Minus One, set two years after the previous story as Japan attempts to rebuild, only to face a new, devastating threat.

Produced as the first Japanese film to be ‘Filmed For IMAX’, the production utilizes full IMAX camera formats to enhance the visual experience. The released footage showcases large-scale practical effects, including full-scale replicas of the Wako building in Ginza, fighter jets, and complex wirework for action sequences.

Returning cast members include Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe. The film is scheduled for a Japanese release on November 3, 2026, with a global rollout including North America, Europe, and Asia starting November 6, 2026.
