Toho’s sequel **Godzilla Minus Zero**, directed by Takashi Yamazaki, continues the post‑World‑War‑II narrative begun with *Godzilla Minus One*. The world premiere is scheduled as the Spotlight Gala selection of the 64th New York Film Festival on **26 September 2026** at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. The movie opens in Japan on **3 November 2026** to mark “Godzilla Day,” and in the United States on **6 November 2026** via GKIDS. A broader worldwide rollout will follow on **12 November 2026**, featuring IMAX screenings and distribution in Italy and other territories by Plaion Pictures, which also released an Italian teaser trailer.

At **135 minutes**, it becomes the longest Japanese Godzilla film to date, underscoring the franchise’s growing international profile. After the festival, the film will roll out globally in early November across Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
