Godzilla Minus Zero trailer reveals new film from director Takashi Yamazaki

The first full trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero has been released, marking the return of the iconic kaiju franchise under the direction and screenplay of Takashi Yamazaki. Produced by TOHO, the science-fiction film is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.

The trailer depicts a world where Godzilla resurfaces with a level of power that appears even more difficult to contain than in previous installments. The footage emphasizes large-scale destruction, including collapsing buildings and chaotic urban scenes, while maintaining a serious and dramatic tone. The narrative is expected to focus on human resilience and the societal struggle to recover from catastrophic trauma.

The film stars Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe. The soundtrack is being composed by Naoki Satō.
