Goiás announces R$ 1.1 billion in infrastructure contracts

The Government of Goiás has announced significant administrative and infrastructure developments. The state successfully auctioned an inoperable 1979 Beech Aircraft 95-B55 for R$ 568,000 via an electronic auction. The winning bid was 184% higher than the minimum established price of R$ 200,000. The sale was conducted because repairing the aircraft was deemed uneconomical for the public sector, and the proceeds will be directed to the State Treasury Single Account.

Separately, the Goiana Agency for Infrastructure and Transport (GoInfra) has published ten contracts totaling approximately R$ 1.11 billion for the maintenance and conservation of highways and aerodromes across the state. These projects span nine cities, including Mineiros, Jataí, Goiatuba, Formosa, Cidade de Goiás, Porangatu, Iporá, São Luís de Montes Belos, and Morrinhos. The largest single contract, valued at over R$ 168 million, was awarded to Construtora Centro Leste S/A for work in Iporá, covering paved and unpaved roads, aerodromes, and ferries.
