Goiás launches Sukatech program offering 206 free technology training spots

The State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Secti) has opened registration for the Sukatech program, providing 206 free places in technology qualification courses. The slots are split among the municipalities of Anápolis (80 spots), Bela Vista de Goiás (60 spots) and Cidade Ocidental (66 spots). Courses include Basic Informatics and Maintenance of Computers and Mobile Phones, delivered in person across morning, afternoon and evening sessions.

Eligibility is open to anyone aged 12 years or older; half of the total places are reserved for women to promote gender balance in the tech sector. Applications are accepted online via abree.go.gov.br/sukatech or by WhatsApp (62) 99849‑1513 until 3 August, with classes slated to begin shortly after. The program also promotes digital inclusion and environmental sustainability by encouraging proper e‑waste disposal and the reuse of refurbished computers for social projects.
