Goiás reaches seven medals at the 2026 Youth Games

The Goiás delegation has accumulated seven medals at the 2026 Youth Games held in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná. The total includes three silver and four bronze medals.

During the second block of competitions, student-athlete Rute Carvalho secured two silver medals in cycling. These additions follow the initial five medals earned during the first block of events held between October 20 and 23.

Earlier achievements included a silver medal in athletics by Emanuel in the 3,000-meter race, and bronze medals in judo (Victória Guimarães and Joaquim Pyetro), table tennis (Adryan Miguel and Mateus Moreira), and taekwondo (Victor Rios). The Goiás delegation consists of 231 members, including 184 student-athletes, and continues to compete in various modalities through November 3.
