Gol Linhas Aéreas announces ChatGPT integration and new loyalty partnership

Gol Linhas Aéreas is expanding its digital and loyalty ecosystem through two major initiatives. First, the airline's loyalty program, Smiles, has partnered with Sem Parar Mais. This collaboration allows Sem Parar credit card holders to convert accumulated points into Smiles miles at a 1:1 ratio, with a minimum transfer of 10,000 points. Once transferred, miles can be used for flights on GOL and 50 partner airlines, as well as hotels and car rentals.

Additionally, Gol has announced an integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Starting October 19, passengers will be able to perform check-ins, consult trip details, select seats, and issue boarding passes directly through the ChatGPT interface by using the @gol command. The company stated that the process uses a dedicated, encrypted login environment to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, preventing the AI from accessing sensitive user credentials.
