Gold exploration advances in Western Australia via Cosmo Metals and Ore Resources drilling

Mining companies Cosmo Metals and Ore Resources have reported significant gold mineralization results from drilling programs in Western Australia's Goldfields region.

Cosmo Metals confirmed a broad mineralized zone at its Laguna Verde site within the Kanowna Gold Project. Results from a Western Australian government co-funded hole included 14m at 0.48 g/t, with an intercept of 1.0m at 1.17 g/t. The company noted that the results confirm the continuity of mineralization along the Fitzroy Shear, suggesting the potential for a large-scale mineralized system.

Ore Resources reported encouraging assay results from its Coolgardie gold projects. Aircore drilling at the Miriam shear zone confirmed it as a fertile gold system, with intercepts such as 8.0m at 1.90 g/t. Additionally, drilling at Burbanks East yielded 4.0m at 4.29 g/t. The company plans to continue its drilling schedule into late 2026 to further define these prospects.
