Gold exploration results lift Awalé and Freegold Ventures projects
Awalé reported that drilling at its BBM target in the Odienné project confirmed the continuation of a high‑grade core below the open‑pit resource, including a 7‑metre intercept grading 7.04 g/t gold with notable copper and molybdenum values. The company also secured a C$14.2 million investment, and its shares rose 8 % in Toronto.
Freegold Ventures announced a 176.8‑metre intercept averaging 1.48 g/t gold at its Golden Summit project in Alaska, with a 45.8‑metre sub‑interval grading 3.09 g/t gold within the Dolphin Area. Additional holes reinforced the continuity of mineralisation and are expected to feed a pre‑feasibility study slated for 2027.
