Stellantis rolls out 2030 Pro One plan and expands software, EV and joint‑venture partnerships

Stellantis announced a series of strategic moves aimed at strengthening its position in electric and commercial vehicles. The group signed new software and autonomy collaborations with Qualcomm, Applied Intuition and Wayve, and deepened alliances with Jaguar Land Rover and China’s Dongfeng. A non‑binding memorandum foresees a European joint venture with Dongfeng to market and manufacture Dongfeng’s new‑energy vehicles, with possible production at Stellantis’ Rennes plant.

The long‑standing TotalEnergies partnership was broadened to cover all European Stellantis brands, delivering co‑branded lubricants such as the Quartz EV3R 10W40 and new MOPAR‑sourced lines.

Stellantis’ Pro One division unveiled its FaSTLAne 2030 roadmap, targeting a 30 % sales‑volume increase by 2030. The plan includes 11 new commercial‑vehicle models, two multi‑energy van platforms based on the STLA Brain architecture, the introduction of hybrid powertrains, and a fully electric pickup with a range‑extender. A digital ecosystem called Pro One NEXT will provide real‑time vehicle monitoring and predictive maintenance, while the autonomous “Box on Wheels” concept will be showcased at the IAA Hannover show.

Executives emphasized that Italian production capacity will not be reduced and that the group will continue investing in new models, battery technology and circular‑economy initiatives across its global plants.
