Google Launches Search Console Tool to Track Creators’ Social Media Reach
Google announced a new feature called “platform properties” in its Search Console, allowing content creators and website owners to see which search queries bring users to their Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube pages. The tool provides data on audience interaction with these posts and aims to give creators a consolidated view of how their content is discovered via Google Search. The rollout will occur gradually over the coming weeks and follows earlier moves that let creators claim dedicated Search profiles and pin videos from other platforms.
The update is part of Google’s broader effort to make Search a central hub for creators, publishers and social media traffic analysis.
